At Passport to Paris 2025, we awarded a grant to Julie Brecher from Learning Independence for Tomorrow (LiFT) to support the creation of a mobile library. This innovative resource will rotate through classrooms, offering students access to sensory-friendly books, audiobooks, and flexible learning tools.

Designed with neurodiverse learners in mind, the mobile library supports emotional regulation, literacy, and social-emotional development. Teachers will integrate the materials into existing curricula, ensuring students benefit from this investment year-round.
The grant will fund storage, sensory tools, and a wide range of inclusive reading materials to support independence and learning in every student.
“The mobile library will provide diverse, sensory-friendly materials that foster literacy, social-emotional learning, and engagement... ensuring that all students, regardless of their needs, have the tools and resources necessary for success,” Julie wrote in her application.
We are excited to see this creative project in action and proud to play a small part in helping LiFT bring learning to life.
