The Hambrick Foundation Launches Open Grant Season as It Reaches $1 Million in Grant Funding Awarded

St. Petersburg, FL — January 1, 2026 — The Hambrick Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its 2026 Open Grant Season, running from January 1 through February 28, 2026. This milestone season will mark $1,000,000 awarded in grant funding since the foundation’s inception in 2023. 

What began as one father's mission to support the special needs community has grown into a national movement empowering educators, specialists, and organizations across the country. With this grant season, The Hambrick Foundation will officially surpass one million dollars invested directly into programs that support children with special needs and equipping the professionals who serve them every day with critical resources, tools, and opportunities.

The 2026 Open Grant Season invites eligible educators, specialists, and nonprofit organizations serving the special needs community to apply for funding through the foundation’s streamlined online application portal. Grants support initiatives in accessibility, therapy, education, and inclusion.
